Mission and Approach

Play more. Play bold. Play funny.

Improv Parenting provides improv education and performances to all ages. We believe everyone can learn improv skills to help them be more connected, confident and creative, and we highlight the unique benefits for families.

We teach family and children’s improv and arts workshops and classes that focus on process over product and experiential learning in playful, supportive environments. An improv mindset applied to life is a practice, and we want to offer spaces and opportunities to practice more, practice together, practice playfully.

We offer ‘pop-up’ programs throughout the Twin Cities and partner with libraries, parks and recreation, non-profits, schools, community education and businesses.
