About Our Workshops

Our workshops teach you how to say "yes, and" to crack open everyday moments and the power and creative potential of playfulness in your daily life.

Kids communicate through play. Come learn to speak their language.

Adult + Child Workshops

Through engaging games and activities we have fun, laugh, and deepen our connections. We have workshops for preschooler + adult & elementary schooler + adult.

The Not Fighting Workshop

March 25th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. FREE.

For Grades K-2 and their adults.

In this 90-minute play-based workshop parents learn to address conflict with their children in a playful way that both supports their child and helps set boundaries. Parents will learn how to do an "instant replay" and how to use "Play Spray," both playful strategies that can minimize tension by fully engaging kids and speaking their language.

The adults play games and are given tools for authentic and playful communication with their child; meanwhile, the kids are doing the same! Then we join forces and play some more games and laugh together. You'll walk away with a warm connection, some new tools for communicating with your child during tense moments, and a novel experience.

At the Walker Public Library, March 25th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. FREE, but spots are limited so please pre-register.

The Not Fighting Workshop gave my husband and myself an opportunity to learn new parenting tools and step out of our comfort zones. The best part was our son learned the same tools and we all applied them together during the workshop, this made using them at home a lot easier. The techniques stuck with us and have helped to lighten the mood during usually stressful times!

Let's Play!

Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we’re all in this together.
